"The Niche" zone of British Online Archives offers researchers customised remote access to images of those manuscript or archival microfilm and microfiche collections which Microform Academic Publishers have been granted permission to digitise and publish online. Prices for six-months' access to microfilm images online via "The Niche", scanned according to your requirements, can be found on the Enquiries / Prices page. For ease of searching printed or typescript documents, uncorrected OCR is included in the above prices.

Drawing on a tradition of over fifty years at the forefront of archival preservation and publishing in Britain, the range of primary sources across many disciplines in humanities and social sciences from which scholars can choose includes: minutes of political parties; reports of national institutions; official government publications; commercial archives relating to the Industrial Revolution, the slave trade or colonisation; the papers of individuals prominent in the history of Britain and its Empire during the modern era; missionary, naval and other records relating to Africa, Asia and the Americas.
